I began my career as a young child. Never had a doll with hair after about a month.

I attended Cosmetology school while still in high school. Began working in Birmingham as soon as I graduated from cosmetology school.

When I moved to Milford I began working at total dimension. It was a family salon with a variety of product lines. It was there that I started my journey of continuing education. PCCAS was an advanced education school that I attended while working at total dimension. Taking courses in advanced color, retexturing, cutting and product knowledge. During my years at total dimension I attended a variety of classes in both Chicago and Toronto.

In 2000 I left total dimension to work as educator and stylist in an Aveda Concept Salon in the area. It was at that time that I became an “In Salon Coach”. Hair color was my domain. I worked there until the salon was changing hands and returned to total dimension and began the process to purchase the salon and make it an Aveda concept salon. total dimension A Concept Salon was born in 2008.

We, as a salon, continue to pursue further education in this ever changing field.
